Elizabeth as Abigail

This blog is intended to record my progress on the Animation for Exhibition unit of my MA at NUCA. I already had something in mind for this unit before it started so in some ways I have been very lucky. My friend Lucy co-runs a theater company called Hocus Pocus Theater and they have a production called Nightmare Cafe.

Nightmare Cafe is a dark moral tail that revolves mostly around three characters, Christina, Augustus and Abigail. It is set in a cafe where the customers ask for their hearts desire and what they are served is always what they deserve. My animation 'Broken Objects' was used as a macabre extra to be played in the cafe bar at the arts center when they had a performance there. Lucy likes Elizabeth and asked if I could do some custom animation to be projected during their performance.
